1998 Hunter 310 This spacious 31 foot cruiser from Hunter marine features two staterooms and a main salon. Natural light is plentiful throughout the interior with multiple screen hatches and ports and the Hunter wrap around windshields. ACCOMMODATIONS:
Two separate staterooms. Master stateroom aft has queen size berth and two hanging lockers. Forward stateroom has a vee shaped double berth and hanging locker. Main salon has a dinette table that drops and coverts to a double. Sleeping accommodations for seven in three doubles and a single berth. Storage in bookcase near main bulkhead, shelves outboard and under settees. Teak and holly sole. Nose ports in hull provide light while sailing and privacy in the evening at dock is provided by curtains. Interior upholstery is blue fabric in good condition. Stereo/CD player.
GALLEY and HEAD:
Counter top is a cream color laminate. Princess two burner propane cooktop. built in Goldstar microwave oven. Cold storage provided by an insulated ice box. Single stainless steel sink has hot and cold pressure water. Storage in cubbards outboard of stove and three drawers for flatware and other galley items. Dish storage in a rack above sinks utilzies space and helps differentiate galley from main salon but allows the cook to be part of the activities. Head is located across from galley on port side of boat. Shower stall is formed with a surround curtain. Vanity and mirror have storage for personal toiletries.
RIGS:
B&R fractional rig with swept back spreaders, mast struts and reverse diagonals eliminate the need for a backstay and allows the use of a lighter mast section above. This design allows for a more stable sail and makes short-handed sailing easy. Main in good condition. 110% jib on Harken furling system on headstay. Two halyards (main and jib) led aft to cockpit. Mainsheet traveler is located on fiberglass arch that spans the large cockpit. Cabintop winches are Lewmar 30 ST and Lewmar 16 ST. Main has "lazy jacks" for mainsail capture.
SYSTEM:
110VAC with shorepower cord. Outlets throughout interior. 12V battery power. Bilge pump. Wheel steering. Marine head with holding tank. Hot and cold pressure water.
DECK:
Large cockpit provides comfortable seating for a large party of guests. Fiberglass arch is a sturdy attachment for the blue bimini top and allows the mainsheet traveler to be mounted out of the way to give the helmsman control no matter how many person are on board. Wheel is mounted on a cockpit table/ice bucket/drink holder unit that houses the compass and electronic instruments and also provides a brace for passengers when the boat is healed. Instruments are binnacle mounted Ritchie compass, Standard Horizon VHF, Autohelm knotmeter/log, Autohelm depth sounder, Garmin 128 GPS, and Raytheon 4000 autopilot. Walk through the transom onto a swim deck with more storage and vented LPG stowage. Telescoping ladder extends into the water three steps with strategically placed handholds to aid getting in and out of the water, Probably the best seat in the house is provided by the stern rail seats, good visibility and comfortable seating for the lucky occupants.
